A reconstituted stone formulated by Eleanor Coade of Lambeth, England that was moulded into statues, decorative garden features, panels and which beacme popular from the mid-1700s. She operated the Coade Ornamental Stone Manufactory from 1769 until her death. The formula was then lost. Good examples in Ireland include Emo Court, Rutland Fountain (see John Ruch 1970.
