Small quarry 2.5 miles north of Adare. Kinahan noted that during the building of Adare Manor all the red beds in this quarry were extracted, but that subsequently some of the remaining lower grey limestones reddened over time. This was first recognised by George Fosberry Junior, Esq.

Adare Manor, exterior, including red and yellow stone sourced from Donoman (Dunnaman), brownish red stone from Cloonagh (Clonagh), red stone from Clorane (Clorhane) and uniform grey limestone from Tuogh.
