Notes:

Built 1874 for the Shirley family of Lough Fea House, Carrickmacross. Unique in Ireland in that local blue-white alabaster from the Knocknacran West deposit was used for the carved pulpit decorated with shamrocks, and panels in the aspe. The panels have since been removed. Connermara Marble used for chancel column, one central at front of pulpil and four squat supporting font. Exterior walls of squared and pitched limestone with dressings of pale red to pink sandstone. An alabaster chimneypiece is in Lough Fea House, the seat of the Shirley Family.
