Notes:

The two principal quarries producing Edenderry oolitic limestone were Killane Quarry, south-west of Edenderry, and Carrick Quarry, north of Edenderry.

Other quarry localities included Greenhills House demesne, Rathmoyle (south-east of Rhodes House), Fahy, Ballybrittan (east of Ballybrittan Castle), Thomastown and Ballaghassaan.
