Notes:

Rosslevan (also spelled Roslevin and Rosslevin) limestone quarries, situated approx. 1 mile NE of Ennis in the southern section of the Rosslevan townland, produced dark grey, semi-oolitic, crystalline and close-grained limestone. The stone worked freely and was extensively used for common building purposes. However the stones raised here were of small dimensions and if larger blocks were required these were sourced from Bushypark.
