Crystalline, compact, works freely. This stone resembles the Ross limestone. Its colour is intermediate between Ardbraccan and Crossdrum stones. It was used in the restoration of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, although it had the reputation of being of a soft, poorish class (Kinahan 1889). It is a crinoidal, peloidal grainstone-packstone with brachiopods and corals.
