Notes:

Similar stone to the Ross limestone but it was more preferred by the builders in Dublin in the late nineteenth century. The Crossagh stone is more favouraly thought of than the Ardbraccan and Ross limestone, which have a good appearance when finished but they soft and and do not keep their colour.
