Green-grey, coarse and fine medium to thickly bedded greywackes, with dark grey, thinly bedded quartzose fine sandstones, both containing distinctive brown-red biotite. The unit was deposited as a turbidite with a source to the east or northeast. (McConnell et al. 2001, pp. 9, 71).References
