Notes:

Laminated, nodular and bedded cherty fine-grained limestones, calcareous siltstones with minor shale. The chert bands reach up to 30cm in thickness. The upper part of the Lucan Formation (Calp Limestone) in the Derravaragh district (Morris et al 2003). These formed in deeper water with less agitation and less turbidite input.
