Notes:

Limestone from the Garryowen quarries was extensivley used in Medievil Limerick. Its use continued into the Georgian period as well as the Victorian Period where the stone was a stong contender for use in the British House of Parliament, but Bolsover stone from Derbyshire was finally chosen.
