Notes:

The abbey dates from the 13th century and contains a west doorway that exhibits some fine stonework with carvings of bishops or abbots and a king (Harbison 1992, p. 53). The Round Tower is earlier, 11th century, and much is missing. The lower portion is constructed of dressed ashlar whereas the later upper portion is of random rubble. What remains contains a round headed doorway and some windows. The north face contains some carvings of birds (Harbison 1992, p. 53).
